Gary is a native of Enid and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1976 with a BBA (Accounting) and the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1981. He has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and is a member of the American, Oklahoma, and Garfield County (President 2008) Bar Associations. Gary is rated AV by the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory. Gary was named in the Top Attorneys in Oklahoma beginning in 2011, and has been selected by his peers to be included in The Best Lawyers in America and as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer practicing in the area of Estate Planning for the past six years.
Gary practices in the following areas: trust and will estate planning, including multigenerational planning for parties with diverse assets; ordinary and complex trust administration and settlement; tax and business planning, including entity formations, operations, and reorganizations, business agreements, and dispute resolution; complex tax and business strategies; stock and asset acquisition transactions; oil and gas leasing and development agreements; and real estate transactions. Gary has served on numerous community and civic boards, including Enid Rotary Club (President 1996), Sons and Daughters of the Cherokee Strip Pioneer President 1986), and Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center (Charter Member) and the Chautauqua Council of Enid.
Jessica L. Caruthers
Jessica, a native of Omaha, Nebraska, was born in 1978 and admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2005. She attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication. Ms. Caruthers later attended the University of Minnesota School of Law, where she earned her law degree, Cum Laude, in 2005. She is admitted to practice before all state courts in Oklahoma and Kansas, the United States District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma and the District Court of Kansas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
She is also a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) through the Institute of Certified Bankers. Jessica’s areas of practice include estate planning, probates, guardianships, family law, employment law, civil litigation, and appeals. She also enjoys volunteering for many community organizations and serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Welfare League of Enid, the Enid YWCA, Leadership Greater Enid, and the Enid Symphony Association, as well as being actively involved in her church. Jessica and her husband, Daylon, have three daughters, Taryn, Delaney, and Riley.
Philip J. Outhier
Phil is a native Oklahoman, born in Fairview, Oklahoma on March 17, 1962. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science degree in 1984 and a Masters of Public Administration in 1986. He later earned his law degree in 1992 from Oklahoma City University School of Law. He is admitted to practice before all State and Federal District Courts in Oklahoma. He is a member of the American, Oklahoma, and Garfield County Bar Associations and the Oklahoma Association for Justice.
Phil is a certified mediator who concentrates his practice in civil litigation. Phil serves on the Professionalism Committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is a member of the Family Law section of the OBA. Phil is an Ambassador for the Enid Chamber of Commerce, serves as a board member for The Commons (a United Methodist Continuing Care Retirement Community) and is active in his church. Phil and his wife Linda have two children, Drew and Emily.
